Our story

Built from experience. Driven by purpose.

Captivated Learning exists because one teenager was shown a better path — and never forgot what that made possible.

For many years I have had a love affair with education. At a young age, a mentor introduced me to self-directed learning, setting me on a path that shaped every area of my life. I began developing skills that enabled me to achieve what I had only dreamt of before.

By the age of 25 I was happily married, running a successful company, had never had a dime of personal debt, had a wonderful community of friends, and a nourished, healthy body. My life certainly didn't lack struggle, but I consistently had clarity; clarity about what mattered and what the next step was to overcome whatever challenges arose.

Over the years, I watched many of my peers struggle with debt, unfulfilling work, and strained relationships. It became clear that the difference was not intelligence or opportunity, but education — the kind of education that equips people to think clearly, act intentionally, and take responsibility for their lives.

I developed a burning desire to help the next generations by leading them to the path that I was so grateful to have been shown when I was just a teenager. Captivated Learning exists to equip young people with the foundational skills they need to live well, lead responsibly, and contribute meaningfully to the world.

We believe that when individuals are educated to live intentional lives, freedom expands. Families grow stronger. Communities become healthier and more functional. Leaders of character emerge. We are stepping into the gap, turning the tide, and building something meant to endure.

The principles behind everything we teach

🌱

Learning is cooperative

Students are guided and challenged, their appetite for learning is awakened, and they are empowered to take ownership of their growth.

🧭

Timeless over trendy

We teach principles that have always worked — financial wisdom, clear thinking, strong character — not whatever is fashionable right now.

🏘️

Communities first

When individuals live well, families grow stronger and communities become healthier. We're building something meant to ripple outward.

Teaching, like farming and healing, is a cooperative art.
